I would like to suggest adding a presentation feature similar to Canva’s animation setting called Appear on Click. In Canva, presenters can prepare slides with notes or pre-filled worksheet responses that appear automatically during the presentation when clicked. A similar capability in Nearpod would allow teachers to preload information, hints, worked examples, or model answers and reveal them step by step during instruction. This would be especially valuable for modeling math processes, guided practice, interactive lessons, and saving instructional time. It would support clearer demonstrations and more engaging live teaching experiences.

I would love to see an option to randomize the order of questions in activities such as Time to Climb and quizzes while keeping the answer choices the same. In subjects like math facts or sequential practice problems, students can sometimes recognize patterns in the order of questions and guess based on the sequence rather than solving each problem. Randomizing the questions themselves would help ensure students demonstrate true understanding and improve assessment accuracy. Having a simple toggle to shuffle question order when launching an activity would be extremely helpful for teachers and would strengthen the integrity of practice and assessment.

My students use the answer with videos tool to look up youtube in class, I would love the ability to turn this off!

Being in the State of Florida, due to state mandates, we are no longer allowed to give the students access to youtube site. I would love to be able to add a youtube video into my self-paced Nearpods WITHOUT the students being able to click on the screen and get to youtube.

It would be nice to allow closed captioning so students can translate the video during playback. I have many chinese speakers who would benefit from translation.

It would be nice if immersive reader was functional with the PDF viewer option. It takes a lot of time to prepare a separate text document in order to have immersive reader function to support my students.

Add a timer to google slide content

In the updated VR experience, there is a bar above and below the VR image. It makes the experience not as immersive as it should be for students. Additionally, the second click for students to have to click the VR headset icon in the top left corner then the "enter VR" button in the middle is redundant and excessive. I use this experience with Kindergartners (they are 5 years old) through 5th grade and these nuances take away from our learning experience. It wastes times and causes frustration for both educators and students. Happy to give additional details, show screenshots, and communicate to help you all fix this issue.

I work for Florida Virtual. I co teach. We need the coteacher link to have all the functions that the teacher link has- I need to see the "future slides" at the bottom of the slides, I also need to be able to easily copy and paste the link/code to give to the kids.
