I currently use Nearpod for my online classes and was wondering if there’s a way to embed a video so that the class can watch it together. I would like to control the play and pause functions, ensuring all students watch the video simultaneously. In a physical classroom, I can do this by projecting the video on a big screen while their Nearpod lesson displays “Eyes Upfront.” However, for online lessons, I rely heavily on Nearpod. Is it possible to have the video displayed on students' screens, with the pace controlled by me? This way, the entire class can view the video in sync.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the option to create a video only! It's ridiculous to have to create a lesson and then launch "Live Participation" or "Student-Paced" just to show a video.

I would like to see all videos on the platform come with a closed caption mandate. There are many students, teachers and staff who need this resource. Please be equitable.

Please take away the ability to add images to both the draw it and drag and drop. I have elementary students that are using that feature to make inappropriate goggle searches.
