After reaching out to Nearpod Support and understanding that clicker functionality is no longer available due to the new interface platform, I strongly encourage Nearpod to prioritize bringing this functionality back as soon as possible. The ability to use a clicker is important to instructors who need to move freely throughout the classroom, engage with learners, and facilitate training without being tied to their computer or front of the room. Removing this functionality creates a significant limitation for instructors and negatively impacts the overall presentation and facilitation experience. I would strongly recommend restoring clicker compatibility in a future update.
