Nearpod is Disappointing

I've been using Nearpod for four years now, and honestly, it feels like the platform has gone from bad to worse. The most recent iPad upgrade has made things even more frustrating—especially the whiteboard feature. Writing with the Apple Pencil has become nearly impossible. Even when selecting the thinnest pen width, the strokes still appear thick and brush-like, making it hard to write clearly.
What’s even more disappointing is the lack of response from Nearpod. Many users, including myself, have submitted feedback and suggestions in this forum over the years, but they often go unanswered or receive only a generic reply with no actual improvements. One long-standing request has been to enable annotation features for paid users—yet nothing has been done.
At this point, it’s hard to see the value in a feedback platform that no one seems to be taking seriously. I'm now seriously considering making the switch to other tools.

Hi Frankie, I was going to submit some feedback to this forum when I happened to read your post because you also stated having issues with the apple pencil. We are too and I will be posting also so hopefully they will see the need to far reaching for their subscribers. Also, I wanted to share what my colleague mentioned about annotations features. She has recently been preparing some PD for our district and noticed that there is live annotation available and it is quite possibly what you are looking for. I have attached the link to the resource here. https://nearpod.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055464992-Use-Live-Annotation-in-a-Live-Lesson#:~:text=On%20the%20bottom%20of%20the,click%20on%20the%20trash%20can. Hope it helps.
